Action 开拍

Action is a bilingual documentary play based on my great-grandfather’s experience as a film director in Shanghai during the Second World War. Through live performance, movement, audience interaction, and archival materials, I am trying to reconstruct his interrupted artistic life while questioning what it means to continue making art during war and migration.
